 Testimonials

"A small, friendly society based on common interest. SEA is the only organization/meeting where I have made friends with whom I have kept in touch over the years."

"I enjoy SEA because of the educational expertise of anesthesiologists who share similar problems and different solutions. I love the camaraderie of physicians who are passionate about being better teachers of our field of medicine, while maintaining our clinical skills. I feel inspired after SEA meetings!!"

"I have remained a member of SEA because it provides a supportive environment of like-minded individuals (anesthesiologists interested in education, in giving back, and advancing their careers as educators and clinicians)."

 Work in Progress

  1. All program directors of anesthesia  residency education programs in the U.S. and Puerto Rico  were contacted by our committee this year by personalized e-mails.
  2. These program directors were asked to fill out the previously formatted program directors survey that is part of the front webpage of their part of the SAAAC web complex. This survey asked about  the individual  program directors knowledge and membership in SEA. It asked for reasons why or why not they were members. It was a vehicle to educate the recipients on the benefits of the SEA to them and their residents.  The responses from these surveys are currently being evaluated.
  3. Those directors who are not willing to become members will be asked to name a designee in his/her department who is a member and who might serve as a contact.
  4. Each non-renewing  or lapsed member was sent a reminder about their membership status.
  5. The content of the Membership  Committee portion of the new SEA Website is being reviewed and updated.
